About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Data Warehousing (DWH), data validation, and automation to support large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives. This role involves defining test strategies, leading execution, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and drive comprehensive test strategies across functional, integration, data validation, API, and automation testing
Develop detailed test plans and lead execution across multiple workstreams
Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Postman/Newman, or similar tools
Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitOps practices
Perform complex SQL-based validations, data profiling, and data integrity checks
Lead Business Process Testing (BPT) across multiple upstream and downstream systems
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage onshore/offshore QA teams
Ensure quality delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Data Warehouse testing and cloud data platforms
Hands-on expertise in Python and API automation
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git
Strong SQL skills for data validation and integration testing
Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or Informatica Cloud (IDMC, CDV, DVO)
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB
Experience testing real-time data streaming and messaging systems like Kafka or SQS
Strong leadership and coordination skills in enterprise environments

Nice to Have:

Experience in large-scale data migration and modernization programs
Exposure to GitOps-based automation practices
