About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines within an Enterprise Data Platform. This role involves applying strong data engineering, software engineering, and DevOps practices to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating multiple data sources
Build pipelines and workflows using modern engineering practices such as version control, code reviews, and automated testing
Implement CI/CD frameworks for data pipelines including automated build, test, and deployment processes
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations
Design and manage data models aligned with business needs
Establish data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks
Optimize performance, reliability, and observability of data pipelines
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practice guidance
Participate in Agile development processes and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills:
5–8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and PySpark
Advanced SQL skills for complex transformations and analytics
Proficiency in Python for data processing
Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, or dbt
Strong understanding of data modeling and database design
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Databricks Workflows
Nice to Have:
Experience with IICS
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Exposure to CPG domain
