Job Title: MDM Informatica Developer II – IDQ
Location: NY, NY – 3 Days Hybrid
· Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter (PC), Informatica Cloud (IICS) Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data integration designs, including mappings, workflows, sessions, and parameterization.
· Develop and optimize data integration workflows to ingest, cleanse, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses, marts, and data lakes.
· Build and maintain reusable mappings, mapplets, transformations, and components to promote consistency and reduce maintenance effort.
· Implement error handling, data quality rules, data lineage, and auditing within ETL processes; monitor and resolve data issues in a timely manner.
· Configure and tune Informatica environments for performance, including partitioning, pushdown optimization, cache management, and session tuning.
· Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests; support UAT and production validation.
· Implement CI/CD pipelines for ETL artifacts (mappings, workflows, configurations) using version control and deployment automation.
· Maintain documentation for mappings, data flow diagrams, data lineage, and runbooks; ensure knowledge transfer to operations teams.
· Stay current with Informatica product updates and best practices; propose and implement process improvements.
Skills: Required Qualifications:
· 7+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter; 2+ years with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or similar cloud-based Informatica tools.
· Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Sybase ASE).
· Experience designing and implementing complex ETL mappings, transformations, and workflows.
· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lake architectures.
· Understanding of data quality, data lineage, data governance, and metadata management.
· Experience with version control (Git or SVN) and CI/CD concepts for ETL artifacts.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Ability to drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment Flexible and open to using and learning new tools and applications Must be able to work independently
