Key Responsibilities:
IT & Business Collaboration: Build strong relationships with Summer EBT staff to understand IT needs and deliver effective solutions.
Requirements Gathering: Work with program leads and external partners (DHS) to collect, document, and prioritize system requirements.
Project Involvement: Actively participate in project meetings, status reports, sprint planning, and discussions on IT enhancements.
Application Design & Implementation: Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical specifications.
User Stories & Documentation: Contribute to user story development and create detailed documentation for IT solutions.
System & Process Improvement: Analyze trade-offs between usability, performance, and business objectives to optimize system performance.
Technical Assistance & Training: Provide training and support to School Nutrition Team staff on IT tools and platforms.
Required Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst/Consultant.
Strong expertise in business requirements analysis, IT system planning, and application development.
Experience working with government programs, federal regulations, and compliance-driven environments is preferred.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and user story development.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to document processes, workflows, and system requirements effectively.
Experience working with databases, data management systems, and IT project lifecycle.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting public sector programs or nutrition-related initiatives.
Familiarity with state and federal IT compliance requirements.
Prior experience with EBT, food assistance programs, or related government systems.
