Job: SAP SecOps Engineer
Location : Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP SecOps Engineer with strong expertise in SAP security operations, authorization models, and audit log monitoring. The ideal candidate will support security monitoring and automation initiatives by analyzing SAP security logs, validating SIEM detections, and implementing automated testing frameworks for security event analysis across SAP environments.
Required Skills
- SAP Security Expertise
- Strong experience with SAP Authorization Model including roles, profiles, and PFCG environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Security Audit Log (SAL).
- Experience with HANA Audit Logs, Read Access Logging (RAL), and Table Logging.
- Understanding of security differences between ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
- SAP GRC Knowledge
- Knowledge of Access Risk Analysis (ARA).
- Experience with Emergency Access Management (EAM / Firefighter).
- Ability to identify authorized vs unauthorized high-risk SAP activities.
- Testing & Automation
- Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Experience with logic testing frameworks or mock data generators.
- Ability to test and validate SIEM security detection logic.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with enterprise SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud security monitoring environments.
- Experience with security automation and incident response workflows.
