Job: iSeries QA Analyst
Location : Issaquah, WA (Onsite from Day 1 – Only Local Candidates)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced iSeries QA Analyst with strong expertise in testing within an iSeries (RPG) environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, ensuring software quality, and maintaining QA best practices across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Must-Have Skills
- iSeries (RPG) Testing Experience
- HP ALM or similar QA testing tools
- Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC, and SQA methodologies
- QA risk management experience (risk, defect, issue identification)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
- Hands-on experience in iSeries (RPG) testing environments.
- Strong experience with HP ALM or other QA testing tools.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create test plans, test cases, and QA documentation.
Technical Skills
- Experience with Cloud testing, UI testing, functional testing, and client-server applications.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard QA tools (HP, IBM, etc.).
- Database experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, or DB2.
- Ability to write SQL queries with joins.
- Knowledge of software configuration management and build tools.
