Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable test code in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Develop and execute performance/load testing scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Identify, log, and track bugs in coordination with development and QA teams.
- Create and maintain documentation related to test coverage, test plans, and test cases.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and actively participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in test processes and strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Playwright).
- Good understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
