Position: JDE EDI Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 to 6 Months with possible extension
Job Description:-
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with our cloud-based EDI partner, internal business teams, and Sales & Distribution BA to understand the current EDI setup and integration workflows.
- Configure and onboard new customers into the JDE EDI environment, following the existing standards and processes.
- Support ongoing EDI production issues, troubleshoot errors, and ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Understand and document existing JDE Sales & Distribution setups to ensure seamless extension of EDI functionality to new customers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate mappings, transactions, and end-to-end EDI processes.
- Ensure that all new EDI customer setups align with the current architecture and functional requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong functional experience in JDE Sales & Distribution (S&D).
- Hands-on EDI experience, including configuration, troubleshooting, mapping validation, and coordination with external EDI partners.
- Ability to interpret and work with key EDI transactions, including:
- 850 (Purchase Order)
- 855 (PO Acknowledgment)
- 810 (Invoice)
- 856 (Advance Ship Notice)
- 846 (Inventory Inquiry/Advice)
- 860 (PO Change Request)
- Experience working with cloud-based EDI service providers is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Ability to quickly understand existing setups and replicate processes for new customer onboarding.
