Position: Java Developer (GenAI Focused)

Job Description:
This role focuses on supporting enterprise-scale item catalog and item setup systems. The developer will work on item creation, data relationships, and downstream data flow to internal and external systems. The ideal candidate will have strong Java fundamentals combined with real-world experience leveraging Generative AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development (design, coding, and testing)
- Practical experience using Generative AI tools for Java development (e.g., MSFT Copilot or similar)
- Ability to write and enhance code using English prompts for design, development, and testing
- Experience coding with and without AI assistance
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for streaming solutions
- Strong experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
- Experience working with OLTP-based systems
- Domain experience in Item Catalog / Item Setup systems
- Azure Cloud experience is preferred
