Job Description:
We are seeking a strong Java Backend Developer for a full-time onsite role in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern Java technologies and cloud-native architectures.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot)
- Expertise in designing and developing Microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
- Good understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, deployments)
- Strong knowledge of Design Patterns and object-oriented principles
- Experience with Groovy & Spock Framework for unit/integration testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices.
- Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Write unit and integration tests using Groovy & Spock.
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
