*Job Summary:*
An Informatica IDQ Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying data quality solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) tools. They ensure that enterprise data meets quality standards by identifying data issues, implementing cleansing rules, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to support data governance and decision-making.
*Key Responsibilities:*
• Design, develop, and maintain data quality mappings, workflows, and transformation rules using Informatica IDQ.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to detect and understand data quality issues.
• Build and enforce data cleansing, standardization, matching, and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data stewards, and architects to define data quality requirements and metrics.
• Integrate IDQ processes with ETL/BI tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, or other data platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data quality workflows and implementations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and deployment guides.
• Develop match/merge logic and identity resolution for master data quality.
• Present data profiling results and remediation strategies to business and technical teams.
• Participate in data governance and data management initiatives across the organization.
*Typical Qualifications:*
*Required:*
• 8–10+ years hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) development in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and matching techniques.
• Solid SQL skills and ability to work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience integrating data quality processes into ETL and data warehouse workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
*Preferred:*
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Informatica certifications (IDQ, PowerCenter) are a plus.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and Agile methodologies.
