 Job Description.

  • The IMS Systems Lab Test engineer will primarily work on testing and validating IMS Network Applications on the T-Mobile Private Cloud Platform. This will cover comprehensive and end to end network functionality testing, including IMS-based services such as Voice and Messaging, from 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi access. The test engineer will also verify platform resiliency, negative scenarios and load & performance test cases. The overall objective is to verify functionality and reliability on IMS Network Applications deployed on a private cloud infrastructure.

 

The Test Engineer should have the following technical background and experience:

  • Familiarity with 4G/LTE and 5G SA Cellular Network, including Packet Core and IMS Core.
  • Familiarity and experience with IMS/SIP signaling including LTE/5G and IMS Network registration, VoLTE/VoNR call set-up, SMS/RCS message signaling, network SIP routing.
  • Experience in lab testing procedures, test cases review and tracking and issue logging and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Network Tools such as Netscout, Wireshark and Landslide, as well as device test-based tools.
  • Experience with Cloud Network platform technology such as Kubernetes and RedHat OCP/OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Experience with Core Network Platforms from Mavenir, Nokia or Ericsson.
