| Role: ServiceNow Engagement Manager Total Experience: 6-8years Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 9-12 Months Job Description : - As a ServiceNow Engagement Manager, you will influence transformational change and advise on ServiceNow options and possibilities to support all IT and non-IT services with key stakeholders and executives to deliver complex projects or programs on time, on budget, and to high quality. You may be defining business cases and strategies or implementing platform-based solutions to realize our goals.
- As the ServiceNow platform has a broad spectrum of components and applications, you will work on various projects, helping to modernize processes in an employee, customer experience, or completely new application development.
- In your role as engagement manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the approach, staffing, timelines, and managing the delivery of projects within the defined scope.
- Your communication skills will be put into practice when managing a project team that is international and multicultural.
- Ability to influence transformational change with key stakeholders and deliver complex projects or programs on time, on budget, and to a high quality
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for at least one ServiceNow application (required)
- Project Management certification from PMI, PRINCE2, or similar (required)
- ITIL V3 or V4 Foundations Certification (required)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with C suite individuals
- Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, including three (3) years of ServiceNow platform experience
- Strong consulting, communication, and relationship-building skills to build and maintain external and internal stakeholder relationships
- Strong knowledge of agile software development practices
- Proven practice experience in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes leading to enhanced business value Comfortable leading workshops to the hierarchy of a large enterprise company
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
Responsibilities: - Acts as the primary point of contact for customer resources, project activities, and escalations as required to achieve outcomes on schedule and budget
- Manage development roadmap and competing priorities
- Build governance meetings and attends project governance meetings
- Reviews and contributes to project status reports and identifies improvement opportunities
- Contribute to the ServiceNow Analysts, Developers, Architects, and other teams in business process improvement efforts regarding service strategy, design, and delivery following best practices aligned to an ITSM and Best Practices strategy.
- Participates in requirements discussions and helps to resolve cross-functional conflicts
- Reports on the effectiveness of the platform and processes to senior management
- Develop resourcing plans and evaluate hiring and professional services needs
- Developing long-lasting relationships and effectively managing key internal and external stakeholders to the IT organization.
- Demonstrating solid insights in designing ServiceNow solutions
- Understanding and having experience in driving process optimization, efficiencies, and productivity using automation
- Work closely with Business Analysts to gather requirements, process map, and ensure business goals are met
