Detailed Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect to join our team. The IAM Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the enterprise IAM solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with various IAM tools and technologies. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights for our IAM team. Technical knowledge of IAM systems is not required, but a strong understanding of access management principles and processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

·  Design and Implementation: Develop and implement IAM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure secure access to company systems and data.

·  System Architecture: Architect and design IAM solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing and future IT infrastructures.

·  Role Management Process Definition:

o    Lead the definition and documentation of role management processes, including role creation, modification, and review procedures.

o    Work closely with business teams to understand access requirements and translate them into role definitions and entitlements.

o    Develop comprehensive documentation outlining role management workflows and procedures for IAM team implementation.

·  Business Requirements Gathering:

o    Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather access requirements and understand business processes that drive access needs.

o    Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to capture stakeholder input and ensure alignment with business objectives.

o    Translate business requirements into clear and concise documentation for IAM team consumption.

·  Security Standards: Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulations such as GDPR, SOX.

·  Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and select IAM tools and technologies to enhance security and efficiency.

·  Access Management: Manage the lifecycle of user identities and access rights, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.

·  Saviynt Expertise:

o    Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IAM team, providing guidance on access management best practices and requirements.

o    Leverage expertise in Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration platform to facilitate discussions around role management capabilities and configurations.

o    Assist in the evaluation and selection of Saviynt modules and features to support role management processes.

·  Integration: Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications, databases, and other systems.

·  Process Improvement and Optimization:

o    Continuously assess role management processes for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement.

o    Collaborate with business and IAM teams to implement process enhancements and automation initiatives.

·  Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to understand and address IAM requirements.

·  Training and Support: Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on IAM processes and technologies.

Qualifications

·  Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM architecture and implementation.

·         Proven experience with IAM technologies such as LDAP, SSO, MFA, PAM, and federation.

·         Experience with IAM products like Okta, Saviynt, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, etc.

·         Experienced architecture with 3-5 full life cycle implementations of Saviynt.

·         Experience working with custom IAM applications to develop IAM products and custom workflows.

·         Experience developing custom workflows within IAM solutions.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or specific IAM certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, Saviynt Certified Identity Professional).

Skills:

·         Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and best practices.

·         Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.

·         Experience with cloud IAM (AWS, Azure, GCP).

·         Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).

·         Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

·         Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC).

·         Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices as they relate to IAM.

·         Knowledge of emerging IAM trends and technologies.

·         Experience in conducting IAM risk assessments and audits.
