Job Title: Technical Data Analyst/Systems Analyst Employment Type: 08 Months Location: WESTLAKE TX 76262 Location: Hybrid Expectation is for the candidate to work a hybrid model. Job Description: Equipment will be shipped to the candidate. Fingerprinting will be completed at on site at a Client location. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar (Master’s degree a plus) Technical Skill Strong SQL experience with the ability to develop, tune, and debug complex SQL applications is required (Teradata preferred, or Transact-SQL/ PL/SQL) Must have recent experience in Data platforms such as Google Cloud| Big Query, Teradata, and Big Data platforms, Tableau, Informatica and Business Objects Analyze the impacts of data integration on Data Warehouse and GCP environment Analyze the performance impacts of increased data volumes to ETL jobs, data SLAs, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and coordinate remediation plans Analyze and coordinate regression testing requirements across multiple development teams Capable of interpreting complex SQL for translation into AS-IS functional state Experience with Agile Scrum Data Analytics 7+ years of experience in data analysis using query tools and 2+ years (or equivalent) experience in financial industry preferred Perform database analysis and data extracts to support business initiative Experience with large corporate level data warehouses and supporting semantic layers which map complex data into familiar business terms Business Acumen/Analytics Senior level skills in gathering and documenting functional requirements, identifying options, and translating functional requirements to technical requirements Design and Development experience for complex and cross functional projects with emphasis on business process redesign Familiarity/Experience within Financial Services, Brokerage Services preferred Experience as a Business Analyst supporting applications within a Finance or Accounting Department Experience creating professional grade business documentation, functional specifications, and white papers Communication Ability to clearly and concisely communicate important information to all levels of management. |
