The Lead Consultant for BTP SAP CPI is responsible for providing expertise and guidance in implementing Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions with a focus on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The role involves designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions to meet business requirements effectively. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Design and configure integration scenarios using sap cpi within the btp framework.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and propose solutions.
3. Develop and implement custom interfaces, mappings, and transformations in sap cpi.
4. Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot any issues in the integration flows.
5. Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within the defined timelines.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members in sap cpi development best practices.
Skill Requirements
1. In-depth knowledge of sap cloud platform integration (cpi) and experience in designing and implementing integration solutions.
2. Proficiency in sap btp services and capabilities related to integration, such as api management, integration suite, and process integration.
3. Strong understanding of sap cloud platform, s/4hana, and other sap modules for seamless integration.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex integration issues.
5. Good communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and drive projects to successful completion.
“Development experience” and “implementing interfaces” are the key here. |

Experienced / certified Integration Specialist in Platforms such as SAP BTP and ERP Applications |
Extensive experience in full life cycle implementation in ERP & Cloud applications (SF& PS) |
Implemented Cloud to Cloud and Cloud to on – premise integrations using SAP CPI |
Setup BTP/CPI environment in Cockpit. |
Development experience in interface flows with Cloud to Cloud , Cloud to On-Prime, On-Prime to On-Prime with Cloud Connector. |
Maintaining multiple CPI accounts in Cockpit such as Development, Test and Production. |
Expertise in developing integrations leveraging adaptors like ODATA, HTTP, JDBC, JMS, IDOC, XI , RFC, SOAP, Mail, SFTP, FTP, SuccessFactors, Open Connectors, Advance REST & Cloud Platform adaptors. |
Experience in implementing interfaces of business applications like SAP S4 HANA, SAP ERP , SAP Cloud for Customers |
7-10 years of experience |
