Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire applications and exposure to Duck Creek policy administration systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of insurance domain processes and experience working on Policy, Billing, or Claims modules in P&C insurance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
- Configure business rules, workflows, product models, and integrations within Guidewire.
- Develop enhancements using Gosu and Guidewire APIs.
- Work on integration of Guidewire with third-party systems via REST/SOAP services.
- Participate in full SDLC including requirement analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business analysts and insurance stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical design.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues.
- Contribute to performance tuning and code optimization.
Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Guidewire development.
- Hands-on experience with:
- PolicyCenter OR BillingCenter OR ClaimCenter
- Strong expertise in Gosu programming.
- Experience with Guidewire configuration and data model customization.
- Working knowledge of Duck Creek (Policy/Billing/Claims modules preferred).
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain.
- Experience integrating Guidewire/Duck Creek with external systems.
- SQL knowledge and database experience (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Good to Have
- Guidewire Cloud experience.
- Duck Creek Author / Duck Creek OnDemand experience.
- Experience in data migration projects.
- CI/CD exposure.
- Certifications in Guidewire or Duck Creek.
