Role: Guidewire Configurator
Location: Onsite (San Antonio, TX) or (Dallas, TX)
Responsibilities:
• 10 years in Guidewire Policy Center
• The role will work with internal customers/architects/Developers to design, develop, and maintain functionality within the Guidewire platform.
• Work with development teams in scrum methodology so that proper patterns/practices are used to deliver software solutions.
• Skill set:
• Strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration. A full understanding of the GW product suite and the frameworks/options available for Development.
• An understanding of the insurance business, an Guidewire Configurator ability to talk to business analysts and SMEs in order to translate business requirements into system changes.
• Knowledge in configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins.
• Experience in configuration of screen layouts, including creation of new screens, enhancements to others and XML file changes.
• Database definition and design at the application level
• Experience relating to screen-related changes, changes to wizards, workflows, validation rules, an Business rules.
• Experience in developing code using GOSU, Bundles, GX Models, Authentication and POGO class
• Strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center Product data model entities and relationship
• Hands on Experience in SQL or PLSQL
• Should be GW (V10) certified
• Minimum one development (full Guidewire project implementation) project experience
