Position: GCP Solution Architect
Location: Issaquah, WA (Fully Onsite)
Terms: Long-Term-Contract
• Lead the modulization of a large scale retail enterprise, transitioning from legacy AS/400 systems to cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GP) or Microsoft Azure.
• The role requires deep expertise in application re platforming, enterprise integrations, Al/ML-driven architecture, and data analysis, along with hands-on leadership across backend, frontend, and DevOps domains.
• You will define the technical roadmap, lead POCs, and shape the future of enterprise systems
in a multi-cloud and hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and lead the re-platforming of legacy AS/400 applications to cloud-native solutions an GCP or Azure. Reimagine and redesign enterprise applications for scalability performance, and modern user experiences.
• Define and implement integration strategies across internal systems, third-party platforms, and cloud services. • Lead Al/ML-based development initiatives, enabling intelligent automation and predictive analytics. • Design and oversee data warehouse and data analytics solutions to support high-volume OLTP systems and varied user interactions. • Drive backend architecture using microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems. • Guide frontend using frameworks like React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript, ensuring responsive and accessible UI/UX. • Oversee DevOps practices, including C/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (DO, container orchestration, and cloud-native deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless on-prem to cloud migration With minimal disruption.
– Establish and communicate a clear technical enterprise vision, aligning architecture with business goals.
• Lead proof-of-concept (PO) efforts to validate new technologies and approaches, Ensure security, compliance, and performance acres all layers of the architecture. Mentor engineering teams across onsite and offshore locations, promoting best practices and technical excellence.
Engage with stakeholders and clients to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile delivery and contribute to sprint planning, architecture reviews, and retrospectives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design
Proven experience migrating from AS/400 or other legacy systems to GCP or Azure Deep understanding of microservices, event driven architecture, and Afl-fist design. Strome background in Al/ML platforms, model lifecycle management, and data engineering.
Expertise in data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and real-time analytics.
Experience with high-throughput OLTP systems and designing for performance and reliability Hands-on experience with C/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (6g Solid experience with backend technologies (lava, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python). Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks (Reatt.js, Nexc.j3, TypeScript, HTML/CSS). Familiarity with containerizations (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployment.
