GCP Cloud Architect C2C REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architecture best practices, and the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. The GCP Cloud Architect will work closely with cross functional teams to drive cloud adoption and optimize cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that meet business requirements.
• Lead the migration of existing applications and services to GCP, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to establish best practices for cloud usage and governance.
• Conduct assessments of current cloud infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, including diagrams, standards, and procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest GCP features and services, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is a deal breaker.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, serverless computing, and containerization.
• Proficiency in cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi cloud environments and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with data storage solutions, including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
• Understanding of networking concepts and services within GCP.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and solutions.
• Proven track record of successful cloud implementations and migrations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
