Role Overview:
We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer Specialist with deep expertise in front-end (Angular and React) and back-end (Node.js, Java) development. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with a proven track record of designing, developing, and delivering complex enterprise-grade applications. While back-end expertise is critical, with a primary focus on Node.js, the candidate must also bring extensive experience in modern front-end frameworks (Angular & React).
This is a senior-level position based in the Bay Area, USA, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams, product owners, and architects to build scalable, performant, and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of scalable full-stack applications, with a strong focus on Node.js back-end services and Angular/React front-end solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and UX designers to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration across systems.
- Write clean, modular, and testable code following engineering best practices.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performance engineering culture.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to continuously enhance the engineering stack.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Front-End Expertise:
- Deep, hands-on experience with React (including React Hooks, Redux, and component-driven architecture).
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Back-End Expertise:
- Advanced expertise in Node.js (preferred primary back-end).
- Solid knowledge of Java for enterprise back-end applications.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and GraphQL.
- Databases: Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.).
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, Cypress).
- Exposure to serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
- Prior experience in large-scale, enterprise digital transformation projects.
