Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Python Data Engineer with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in data engineering, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), and BigQuery, with hands-on experience in API development and end-to-end data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Python.
• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and cloud storage.
• Work with GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, etc.).
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and monitoring.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience in Python for data engineering and pipeline development.
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data modeling, orchestration, workflows).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs for data ingestion.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transformation, and optimization.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Cloud Composer, etc.) is a plus.
