Job Title: ETL Developer
Location: High Point, NC (2 Days onsite and 3 days remote)
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: $50/hr on C2C
Responsibilities:
- Understand scope of Data-Lake solutions by studying informational needs, studying system flows, data usage and work processes, and following the development life cycle; comply with design and development standards
- Understand various data elements and usage in ETL and Data Warehousing concepts
- Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using ETL tools
- Monitor ETL processes to ensure production is always up and running
- Build reporting and BI tools using identified ETL tools in the project
- Perform tasks using data warehouse methodologies and theories (dimensional modeling)
- Experience with Data Visualization Reporting Tools and writing Complex DAX Queries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent related technical work experience
- 4-8 years of experience with hands on experience in writing heavy SQL programs
- Understanding of report development, deployment and administration/optimization experience
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools, T-SQL stored procedures development, and source code control (Team Foundation Server)
- Ability to perform tasks in support of unit testing, integration testing and system-level testing
- Knowledgeable about new technologies and products with the willingness to continue learning
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in any Cloud Environment
