Job Description
Design, build, and optimize automated ETL pipelines
Enhance existing ETLs in on-premise DataStage
Develop new ETLs using Python framework
Key Responsibilities
Build scalable ETL processes using AWS Glue, PySpark, Python
Transform data into Parquet / Avro formats
Write Python scripts in AWS Lambda for data processing and triggers
Manage S3 data lake (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers) and lifecycle policies
Set up CloudWatch dashboards and monitoring alerts
Optimize Spark jobs and SQL queries for performance
Document incident recovery and preventive actions
Debug upstream/downstream data issues
Ensure data lineage, dependencies, and integrations stability
Support ETL across Dev, QA, Stage, Prod environments
Collaborate with Infra teams for IBM Infosphere IIS platform
Manage configurations, parameter sets, shared containers
Promote DSX / ISX code across environments
Validate ETL deployments and support post-migration testing
Assist in patching, upgrades of DataStage platform
Support access approvals and IAM coordination
Required Skills & Experience
Strong SQL skills (ANSI SQL)
Experience with Snowflake and Oracle
ETL performance tuning and parallelism
Production support, monitoring, and incident handling
Experience in Finance / Regulatory reporting ETL workloads
