We are looking for an experienced Epic Cogito Developer to support our healthcare data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Epic’s Cogito suite, including Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, and related data models. This individual will play a key role in developing robust reporting solutions, data extracts, and dashboards to support clinical and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, and maintain Epic Cogito solutions including Clarity ETL, Caboodle models, and Radar dashboards
Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver reporting solutions that support organizational objectives
Build and manage custom SQL queries and stored procedures to support analytics and reporting needs
Maintain high standards of data quality, integrity, and security across Epic’s reporting environments
Participate in Epic upgrade cycles and ensure reporting compatibility with new features
Collaborate with data analysts, report writers, and business units to translate needs into technical solutions
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to Clarity/Caboodle data
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Epic Cogito (Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, and Chronicles)
Strong SQL skills in Oracle or SQL Server environments
Solid understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical data, and regulatory requirements
Experience with Clarity ETL processes and Caboodle development
Epic certifications in Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle (preferred)
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Preferred / Nice to Have:
Experience using Power BI to develop dashboards and visual reports
Familiarity with Tableau, Crystal Reports, or other BI/reporting tools
Exposure to Slicer Dicer and Epic data models
Understanding of data governance and metadata management
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
