Job Summary:

We are looking for an Envestnet Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive the functional success of our wealth management and banking integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Roadmap Lead: Act as the functional lead for the Envestnet platform, ensuring that all integrations align with the business's wealth management and growth strategies.
  

• Process Orchestration: Design the end-to-end “Advisor Journey,” including automated client onboarding, proposal generation, and real-time reporting flows.
  

• Functional Requirements Excellence: Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications that engineers can execute.
  

• Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Take ownership of the accuracy of financial data (holdings, cost basis, and performance) flowing between Envestnet and our internal ledgers.
  

• Change Management: Lead the functional rollout of new Envestnet releases and modules, ensuring that advisors and back-office staff are trained and workflows are optimized.
  

• User Experience Advocacy: Work closely with front-end teams to ensure that the Envestnet-powered client portal is intuitive, personalized, and friction-free.
  

• Regulatory & Compliance Alignment: Ensure that all platform workflows meet industry standards (SEC/FINRA) and internal audit requirements for data privacy and fiduciary responsibility.
  

• Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for Envestnet s product team to influence their roadmap and resolve high-priority functional gaps.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Envestnet Domain Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of the Envestnet ecosystem, specifically Yodlee (data aggregation), MoneyGuide (financial planning), and the Wealth Management Platform (reporting/billing).
  

• Wealth Management Expertise: Strong understanding of investment products (UMAs/SMAs), custodial relationships, and the lifecycle of a private wealth account.
  

• Technical Literacy (Functional Level): While this is a functional role, you must be able to “speak the language” of our tech team, including understanding how Java microservices, APIs, and Google Cloud Platform Cloud services support the business logic.
  

• Data Mapping Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to validate that Envestnet data feeds are mapped correctly to our internal banking schemas.
  

• Agile Product Ownership: Experience working as a Product Owner or Lead Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment, managing a functional backlog.
  

• Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to explain technical limitations to business leaders and business needs to technical teams.
  

• Problem Solving: A track record of resolving complex “data breaks” or workflow bottlenecks that impact the advisor or client experience
