Description:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and ten years of related Computer experience.
Min. 5+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Peoplesoft and PeopleTools 8.57 or higher
• Experience with SQR’s, App Engines, Integration Broker, Peoplecode, Fluid
• Strong SQL skills including troubleshooting and tuning
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in building and supporting APIs.
• Experience with interfaces to both on-premise and cloud systems.
• Experience with Workday and Peoplesoft Financials 9.2 is desirable
Position Description
This position is in direct support of the University’s Peoplesoft Financials system, providing high level programming and technical direction. The primary focus of the job is system support and development including analysis, troubleshooting, requirements gathering, tool selection, design, coding, testing, documentation and production turnover. Able to lead small to medium size projects. Employ current security practices in handling of data and design and coding. Able to work with a wide variety of internal and external users at all levels and operate with minimal supervision and direction. Have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to organize and make presentations when required. Capable of working with teams to complete projects and assignments and be able to manage multiple projects at one time and take projects from initiation to completion on schedule. Have a strong customer service focus and promote continuous process improvement efforts.
