Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Payor Industry Architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team and own healthcare payer-focused architecture deliverables. The role requires deep industry expertise, awareness of market trends, and the ability to design and recommend scalable business and technical solutions aligned with payer operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide architectural leadership for payer-side healthcare operations with focus on Provider Enrollment & Provider Services (costs, provider needs, and operational efficiency).
Translate business and technical requirements/issues into implementable solutions with required interfaces and integrations.
Develop high-level architecture and design specifications emphasizing system integration and business process alignment. Lead and present complex cross-functional business and technical solutions to clients and internal product teams. Identify requirement gaps, propose business transformation solutions, and align capability models to value streams. Support product and project teams through the PDLC/SDLC lifecycle (Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, Agile/Scrum). Ensure configuration data management and data migration strategy using appropriate tools. Maintain strong stakeholder and customer relationships, lead design workshops, and facilitate architecture discussions. Ensure compliance with information security and data protection policies, including PHI/ePHI handling.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field.
10+ years in Healthcare Payer Architecture & Business Solutioning.
Experience leading design sessions and presenting complex requirements to clients.
Strong understanding of PDLC & SDLC methodologies.
Expertise in configuration data management and data migration.
Hands-on with Jira (defect & requirement tracking), version control, and architecture documentation tools.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Knowledge of payer industry trends and ability to recommend emerging tools/technologies.
Must follow Federal, State, and organizational regulations for sensitive healthcare data.
