Job Title: DevOps Engineer I Web Application Support
Location: St Louis, MO (Day1 onsite)
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Years of experience with relevant technology: 8+ years.
Responsibilities:
. Manage and automate the packaging, deployment/installation and configuration of CaaS micro service applications including containerization and orchestration
. Leverage App Dynamics & Splunk for monitoring, alerting and centralized logging or CaaS applications and services that operational teams can use to monitor and troubleshoot the issue
. Monitor performance of systems reporting metrics as needed
. Participate in architecture design implementation automation and support of our CaaS product portfolio. Collaborate with fellow team members on DevOps best practices.
. Work collaboratively with Product Owner Software Engineering and Product Management on new requirements and to resolve complex operational issues
. Provide documentation to Operational Teams on how to understand/resolve complex issues for the CaaS ecosystems
. Help to continuously improve DevOps processes and services to other teams and customers
.Assist with forecasting resource consumptions and growth requirements for the CaaS ecosystems
. Performs other duties as required
. Availability for periodic off-hour deployments, maintenance, and on-call rotations.
Key Skills:
10+ years of IT Experience and 5+ years of DevOps experience.

. Proficiency with Linux operating systems.

Job Description
· Design, implement and maintain all AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment.
· Work closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the AWS design
· Design, Deploy and maintain enterprise class security, network, and systems management applications within an AWS environment
· Implement process and quality improvements through task automation. Institute infrastructure as code, security automation and automation or routine maintenance tasks
· Provide technical solution and consulting to the application teams for the migration approach.
· Work with engineering teams to introduce new AWS services
· Support the business development lifecycle (Business Development, Capture, Solution Architect next migration path, cost reporting and impartments)
· Provide integration support and advance troubleshooting for development and production environments.
· Work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and developers to create functional design specifications, AWS reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
· Review findings and Identify root causes for common issues and provide recommendations for sustainable improvement
Eligibility Minimum Qualification
· Engineering or equivalent degree
· 6-12 years of experience working on AWS cloud technologies in architecture and engineering
· Hands on experience in AWS technologies is a must.
· Must have experience in implementation of security hardening, encryption Key management at an enterprise scale.
· Certified in industry recognized certifications such as AWS Solution Architect-Professional.
Competencies Mandate Skills
· Focusing on high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto scaling using AWS Cloud Formation.
· Configured and managed various AWS Services including EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Glacier, Cloud Watch, Cloud Front, and Route 53 etc.
· Configured various performance metrics using AWS Cloud watch & Cloud Trial
· Worked on configuring Cross-Account deployments using AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build and Code Deploy by creating Cross-Account Policies & Roles on IAM.
· Written various Lambda services for automating the functionality on the Cloud.
· Used AWS Route 53 for configuring the High-Availability and Disaster recovery to make the environment up and running in case of any unexpected disaster.
· Maintained the user accounts (IAM), RDS, Route 53, VPC, RDB, Dynamo DB, SES, SQS and SNS services in AWS cloud.
· Experience with microservice architecture
· Above-average skills in Python or another high-level programming language
· Working knowledge of Containers and container orchestration platforms
· Deep knowledge of configuration management, Network connectivity, deployment automation tools on AWS
· Deep understanding of various security aspects
· Experience and exposure to design reviews for introduction of new technologies
