Role Overview
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support our Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. This role combines application engineering, release engineering, cloud infrastructure, and operational support, with a strong emphasis on reliability, automation, security, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and operate IAM services and supporting infrastructure.
- Own release engineering processes and ensure safe, reliable production deployments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, including war rooms.
- Troubleshoot and mitigate customer-impacting issues with urgency and precision.
- Drive vulnerability remediation efforts across application and infrastructure layers.
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational resilience initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with security, platform, and customer teams to meet SLAs and reduce risk.
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery velocity.

Required Qualifications
Technical & Operational Skills
- Proficiency in Java and experience building services using the Spring Framework.
- Strong experience with relational databases (RDBMS) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with release engineering and managing production releases.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure and AWS.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and operational resilience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for tactical, customer-facing issues.

Incident Response & Prioritization
- Ability to operate in an on-call or incident-response rotation.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly pivot to urgent or high-priority work.
- Active participation in incident war rooms, collaborating in real time on troubleshooting.
- Strong focus on meeting SLAs and achieving the quickest possible mitigation during incidents.

Required AI Skills
All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise‑approved AI tools as part of their day‑to‑day responsibilities.
- Consistent Use:
- Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of approved AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other enterprise‑approved GenAI platforms.
- Applied Productivity:
- Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, troubleshooting, and decision‑making workflows.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and apply them to improve delivery quality, operational efficiency, and velocity.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring platforms.
- Familiarity with the Splunk platform, including dashboarding and alerting.
- Hands-on experience writing and optimizing Splunk queries (SPL).
- Experience operating IAM or other security-critical platforms in production.
- Exposure to regulated, high-availability, or customer-facing environments
