Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, scripting, and cloud platforms. This role requires expertise in various tools and technologies to streamline our development and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Gradle for build automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms including OpenShift, Azure, and GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Automation: Utilize Gradle for building and automating software projects. Ensure efficient and reliable build processes.
- Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Shell scripting to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
- CI/CD Tools: Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other relevant technologies. Ensure seamless integration and delivery of code changes.
- Cloud Platforms: Demonstrate proficiency in working with cloud platforms including OpenShift, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in cloud environments.
- Collaboration:
- Cross-functional Teamwork: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software products. Collaborate on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Problem-solving: Engage in collaborative problem-solving sessions to address technical challenges and improve processes. Leverage the collective expertise of the team to find innovative solutions.
- Knowledge Sharing: Participate in knowledge-sharing activities such as code reviews, documentation, and training sessions. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
