Job Description :
• Manage end to end DevOps delivery working with multiple stakeholders and Provide thought leadership working collaboratively with the DevOps, App Dev, and QA Group spread across geos in Onsite/Offshore Model
• Participate in infrastructure analysis, evaluation, design, documentation, and Operations.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate in a clear and timely manner when appropriate.
• Lead day-to-day operational activities, manage the track activities and plan, provide governance and oversight, and provide track status and support thought leadership with the client.
• Develop and Manage implementation standards, guidelines, processes for BAU Operations.
• Evaluate minor and major enhancements criteria for Projects and BAU Run and Manage commitments
• Manage delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated to the work items or initiatives and follow appropriate escalation matrix.
• JIRA Maintenance
o Maintain the product and sprint backlogs in JIRA
o Run Sprint ceremonies
o Generating Weekly report for all team members
• Manage Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly cadence with stakeholders and teams
• Administer Code Reviews and Manage Review meetings and Metrics.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of DevOps management experience
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly
• Great communication skills
• Proven knowledge of system infrastructure
• Ability to work well in a team
• Familiar with Agile practices, continuous integration,
Technical experience
• 7+ years of experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and/or infrastructure development and administration
• 5+ years AWS concepts and or other public cloud experience. Cloud migration experience is a plus
• 5+ years design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
• 5+ years of experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Team City, GO CD, Azure DevOps, Git, Ansible, Service Now, Sonar, JIRA
• 5+ years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
• Understanding of cloud technologies viz., Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem, cloud deployments etc
• Good understanding of the cross cutting architectural elements like Security (Authentication, Authorization), Distributed logging, tracing and Audit, Infra as Code, Database Design
• Experience in defining DevOps process and framework
• Automation experience using configuration management tools, such as Chef and Puppet
• Experience in writing Chef Recipes, Terraform, Packer
• Prior experience developing or working with Amazon Web Services
• Candidate should have experience leading a multi-disciplinary team, working in a fast paced, high velocity agile environment
• Approaches and tooling for automated software assurance and QA.
• Experience with project or program management
• Defining and managing the roadmap for implementation of DevOps in an established operation.
• Working within a structured environment, including the use of structured methods and approaches and modern development tools
• Strong PowerShell coding/scripting skills (other scripting language may be considered)
• Passion for and ability to work with software development teams releasing production-ready software on a daily basis
