Job Title : DevOps Engineer
Location : NY/ Chantilly/ Denver/ Burlington/ Hartford [Remote for 2 months after months work @ office]
Contract : 12+ months
Responsibilities:
• Works with a cross-functional team, uses agile practices, writes, and delivers/maintains code and tools.
• Actively participates in discussions with stakeholders from Product and Teams.
• Identifies and fixes problems in code and/or delegates to more junior staff.
• Reviews the coding work of more junior team members.
• Provides deep technical expertise in key functional areas.
Experience:
• 6+ years of IT/Digital software development experience in Java/UI/UNIX background.
• 1-2+ years of experience with Docker containerization, Kubernetes, Rancher etc.
• 1-2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like GITLAB, Jenkins, Circle CI/Ansible & Harness.
• 1-2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies like GCP/AWS.
• 1+ years of experience with Cassandra/Vault DB.
• 2+ years of experience in groovy/python/shell.
• Release/deployment automation/staging process knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with agile development required, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experienced preferred.
