Job Title: DB2 Database Administrator
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite—only candidates currently in Raleigh, NC, will be considered.)

Job Description:
- Perform data analysis and database management activities.
- Design data dictionaries, logical and physical data models, and ERDs.
- Create database requirements, including schemas, data maps, tables, indexes, and views.
- Develop data rules and test cases to support data cleansing and conversion activities.
- Conduct data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality assessments.
- Implement and tune DB2 and SQL Server databases for performance and scalability.
- Participate in data governance processes and data conversion initiatives.
- Dissect complex problems and extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years understanding data structures, schemas, and indexing.
- 5+ years creating logical and physical data models to ensure integrity.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with DB2 and SQL Server database management systems.
- 5+ years of experience with ETL processes—extracting, transforming, and loading data.
- 2+ years of experience with a data cleansing tool.
- 5+ years of experience creating and executing test cases.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent work streams.
