Role: AWS Architect
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC (Day One Onsite)
Contract: 6 months plus
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Advanced Solution Design and System Integration Architecture experience including:
- Development of Architectural Guiding Principles, Viewpoints and Patterns
- Conducting Architecture Reviews to assess compliance and adoption of these thing.
- Assessing Vendor/Product/Technology Suitability in a given business context
- Designing Systems with High Availability achieved through Resiliency Designs and Predefined Degraded Modes of Operation Application Architecture Skills and Experience
- Looking for candidates that are familiar and experienced with our target runtime environment:
- Primary Java, OpenJDK, Spring Framework Kubernetes/OpenShift Cloud Hosting: AWS (primary), GCP (secondary, nice to have) Familiar with Standards and Best Practices around DevOps / SecDevOps Secondary Redis, Kong mongo DB Business Domain Experience
- Direct experience with or strong knowledge of the FinTech Services industry (retirement, banking, insurance) including Core Products and their Legal/Compliance/Regulatory requirements Methodology Skills and Experience
- Agile (Safe Agile) experience strongly preferred. Roles and Responsibilities Model

Architectural Policies and Reviews
1.Ability to clearly define, document, socialize and help apply Architectural Guidance for Teams. This will include Guiding Principles, Viewpoints/Leans, Standards and Best Practices, Policies, etc.
2.Ability to document emerging Application Architecture Patterns and assist AppDev Teams with their adoption. Conduct Conceptual Architecture and Logical Architecture Reviews. Identify new and emerging Patterns for Pattern Library inclusion Model
Requirements:
Architect Practitioner These requirements a Model portant if we decide to adopt the Embedded Architect model.
1.Define, Document (diagram) and Justify Solution Design Architectures with an emphasis on High Availability, Resiliency, Omnichannel Design (foster composability, re-use), DR Capable, Future Extensible and optimized Cost Management.
2.Other Architectural Deliverables Documenting ADRs New Pattern Submissions TETRIS Architectural Coordination
