ETL Developer
Manager would like if they have Hana and Oracle followed by Healthcare experience (Epic, SQL)
1. Expert level in Structured Query Language (SQL) for Hana, Oracle, and/or MS SQL Server.
2. Healthcare experience, particularly working with data from Epic, Kronos, and/or Lawson
3. Strong experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and principles. Familiarity with multiple ETL applications DataStage, Business Objects Data Services (BODS), and/or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
4. Experience delivering analytics to technical, non-technical and leadership teams that influence and support business strategy.
5. Strong experience developing visualizations that consume data models for non-technical users
6. Experience with AGILE/Scrum methodologies
Overview
Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional or operational areas Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements May train users in conversion and implementation of system.

Maintains full technical knowledge of applications development tools and methods within a particular platform or technology; instructs and guides others, providing peer review to ensure quality assurance

Develops and implements application maintenance plans to address technical and business issues
Integrates applications applying knowledge of software architecture
Adheres to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques and generally accepted best practices
Tunes custom applications for maximum efficiency
May be responsible for more complex peer review

They ensure that data is extracted, transformed, and loaded correctly and manage each stage of the ETL process to facilitate smooth transfers and storage of data. - Very skilled in Python and DataStage coding and development
- Very skilled in performing Python/Data Stage Code reviews

- Very strong in the following areas DW methodologies, Data Marts, Cloud experience (preferably GCP), Data Ingestion via multiple API methods, Python, DataStage, Linux
- Nice to have Guidewire, Autosys, developing Architecture and Dataflow diagrams
- Self-motivated, thorough with quality work they do, work with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and communication skills, effective communication is essential as team dynamics change quickly
- No customer service skills are needed but will interact with internal business partners
- Insurance is strongly preferred but not mandatory
- 10 years of experience required developing with DataStage and Python
