WA (Onsite from Day 1) (Need Only Locals)  Duration: Long Term Contract    Job description:  The Sr Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports efficient data storage and transformation (ETL) from multiple sources, including APIs, SQL Server, Fabric, and Databricks. They design data storage schemas and implement load-and-transform processes that prepare data for use by reporting and analytic teams. The Sr Data Engineer also sources and integrates data from across the organization, and drives process improvements by automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery and enhancing scalability. This role mentors other team members in their efforts to build data engineering skillsets    Develop data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, visualization and analytical tools  Design and develop data architectures in on-premise, cloud and hybrid platforms  Wrangling heterogeneous data for exploration and discovery to uncover new business insights  Actively contribute to the team’s knowledge and drive new capabilities forward  Support skill development and mentorship for other team members in efforts to expand their data engineering skillsets  Create and maintain scheduled data flows and reusable data tools that ensure data integrity and empower citizen developers and business teams to access and use data confidently  Assist team management in defining projects, including helping estimate, plan and scope work  Prepare and contribute to presentations required by management; also supports other high-priority projects as directed by business leadership    5 years designing and developing data pipelines, architectures and data sets using Azure SQL, Data Factory, Databricks, AWS or similar.  Hands-on development using and migrating data to cloud platforms  Experience in SQL, NoSQL, and/or relational database design and development  Advanced knowledge and experience in building complex data pipelines with Python, Experience in languages such as SQL, DAX, Python, Java, Scala, and/or Go
