Job Title: Data Architect with PowerShell
Location: Onsite at Plano, TX
Position Type: Contract
Requirements:
•Architect and implement scalable, globally distributed solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
•Lead data modeling efforts, including schema design, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
•Optimize query performance and manage RU (Request Unit) consumption for cost efficiency.
•Design and implement multi-region replication and high-availability strategies.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud architects, developers, and DevOps.
•Develop automation scripts for deployment and monitoring using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
•Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across all Cosmos DB implementations.
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
•Stay updated with Azure advancements and recommend improvements to existing systems.
