Title: Data Architect with Databricks

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong Databricks expertise to design and implement scalable data platforms and modern data architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Databricks, cloud data platforms, data lakes, and big data technologies, with the ability to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement modern data architectures using Databricks, Delta Lake, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for batch and real-time processing using Spark and Databricks.
- Architect data lakehouse solutions integrating structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT frameworks for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business teams to define data models and analytics solutions.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are implemented.
- Optimize performance and cost efficiency of Databricks workloads and cloud resources.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and metadata management frameworks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation for data engineering workflows.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and data pipeline development.
- Experience with data lake, lakehouse architecture, and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming).
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Experience with ML/AI data pipelines in Databricks.
- Relevant Databricks or cloud certifications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to lead architecture discussions and mentor teams
