| IT Cyber Security Architect Location: REMOTE Jobs Your Impact: As a Cyber Security Architect and a member of the Global Cyber Security team, you’ll focus on designing and developing security architecture patterns that meet regulatory obligations and data protection requirements as well as align with the business and corporate security strategy. You’ll collaborate with Application Development, IT infrastructure and Cyber Security engineers to build security controls and solutions compliant with approved architecture frameworks and standards. With your thorough understanding of related systems and processes, you’ll effectively articulate the high-level principles, requirements and progress of initiatives and controls clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Here’s What You’ll Do: • Perform security assessments, identify gaps in existing security architecture, and recommend changes or improvements. • Facilitate third-party vendor security assessments/reviews. • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats. • Create solutions that align enterprise security architecture frameworks and standards (e.g., CMMC, SABSA, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001) with overall business and security strategy. • Participate in risk assessments for new technologies and projects. • Employ secure configuration management processes. • Document security requirements and controls for protecting information, systems, and technology assets. • Define and document how the implementation of a new technology impacts the security posture of the current environment. • Document and update as necessary all definition and architecture activities. • Provide input on security requirements to be included in request for proposals (RFPs), statements of work (SOWs), and other procurement documents. Here’s What You’ll Need: • At least 5 years of relevant Cyber Security Architecture experience in a global environment. • Knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threats, and risk mitigation activities for IT infrastructure, security devices, applications, systems and endpoints • Experience in identifying gaps in existing architectures. • Experience in designing security architectures to mitigate threats. • Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS) and network security methodologies (IPSEC VPN gateways, layer 3-7 next generation firewalls, web filters, IPS, IDS, ACLs). • Knowledge of network access, identity, and access management (e.g., public key infrastructure, Oauth, OpenID, SAML, SPML). • Knowledge of remote access technology concepts, methods and controls. • Knowledge of application firewall concepts and functions (e.g., single point of authentication enforcement, data anonymization, DLP scanning, SSL security). • Work experience in cybersecurity designs for systems, networks, and multi-level security requirements or requirements for processing multiple classification levels of data. • Knowledge of risk management processes and experience in conducting risk assessments. • Familiarity with the application of privacy principles to organizational requirements. • Experience with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems. • Experience with US Federal information technology and cyber security standards including NIST 800-171 Ideally, you’ll also have: • Azure cloud computing security architecture and controls experience • Experience with application security development (OWASP, etc.) incorporating security practices into each phase of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Multifactor authentication experience • Encryption and certificate/key management • ERP experience (Oracle, PeopleSoft) • Degree in relevant field or a significant combination of technical certifications and direct experience • One or more professional security related certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISA, GIAC, GSIP, GCIH, GCFE) |
