Job Description/ Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Sr. Tech Consultant is responsible for supporting the design, development, maintenance, administration, and continuous improvement of CSM solutions in ServiceNow. This is a SME/Subject matter expert role; the successful candidate will collaborate with the existing internal ServiceNow team (and customers) following industry standards on a day to day activities and administration. Development efforts will include (but are not limited to) custom portal pages, modules, API and software integrations, customized web pages, User interface policies, scripts, etc. The developer should have strong JavaScript/web tech knowledge, proficiency in ServiceNow configuration (Business Rules, Scripts, Workflows, UI Policies, etc.), and hands-on experience with CSM data models (Accounts, Contacts, Cases, Portals)
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• JavaScript & Scripting: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, Glide API.
• Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, Jelly, XML, JSON, Angular JS.
• Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub.
• CSM Specifics: CSM Data Model (Accounts, Contacts, Cases), CSM Workspaces, Portals, Case Routing, Flow Designer.
• Platform Knowledge: UI Policies, Access Controls (ACLs), Update Sets, Reporting.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM)
