- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/electronics or related field.
- 5+ year software development experience with Linux and embedded devices
- Software skills: C/C++ programming required.
- Experience working on web browser engines such as Webkit
- Experience developing multi-threaded and high-performance software.
- Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- deep understanding of browser engine internals and architecture.
- Solid understanding of Webkit networking stack and protocols such as WebSocket and WebRTC
- Good exposure in development of multimedia pipelines using HTML5 media controls and GStreamer
- Familiarity with Yocto, OpenGL ES, Wayland protocol is desirable.
- Contribution to open-source browser projects such as Webkit/Chromium is added advantage (should be able to provide OSS project links/references)
