Job Title: Conversational AI / Chatbot Developer

Location: Hartford, CT

Rate: $57 /hr on C2C

 

JD:

Required Qualifications

5+ years of software delivery experience

3+ years developing chatbots using IBM WatsonX Orchestrate or similar conversational AI tools (e.g., Google Dialogflow CX, LivePerson, Amazon Lex, Kore.ai)

3+ years training and improving intent recognition through curated training datasets

3+ years applying Conversational AI best practices, including NLP and training data optimization

1+ year experience with CI/CD, Git, unit testing, and source code management

1+ year knowledge of cloud development and deployment principles

1+ year backend development experience in Java, Node.js, or Python

1+ year multi-language experience in JavaScript and TypeScript

1+ year working in an Agile environment, with familiarity in DevOps approaches, end-to-end software development processes, and business requirements

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IBM Watson Speech-to-Text, Watson Discovery, or similar voice processing and information retrieval technologies

Familiarity with SSML (Speech Synthesis Markup Language) for TTS refinement

Experience integrating unstructured data sources (e.g., semantic embeddings for document search) with conversational agents
