Contract Position of NoSQL Developer

Title: NoSQL Developer (predominantly Cassandra)

Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

•                     Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database software ( Cassandra, Mongo, Elastic Search )

•                     Should have working experience in python or any equivalent scripting language to develop and maintain data pipelines in/out of NoSQL.

•                     Should have working knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Linux OS

•                     Work with Development team to help determine and deploy the best datastore technology and data model strategy for their needs.

•                     Work with Development team to understand the Application requirement and design database schema accordingly.

•                     Manage the operations for both development and production databases.

•                     Create and configure Alerts to health check the servers and the databases running on them.

•                     Design, implement, maintain, and automate the appropriate backup and recovery architecture as required.

•                     Work with internal teams to plan and schedule application upgrades.

•                     Troubleshoot NoSQL issues and performance bottlenecks.

•                     24 x 7 On call support for any PROD issues
