Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Migration Program Manager to run our Cloud Migration program. This role involves working closely with the AWS Professional Services team on the migration, with a focus on ensuring progress on Client-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the cloud migration program, ensuring all project milestones are met from Discovery and Assessment to Migration Delivery and UAT/Cutover.
- Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage team, coordinating resources, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve successful cloud transformation.
- Collaborate with the AWS Professional Services team to plan and execute the migration.
- Engage with stakeholders, including executives, IT teams, and end-users, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular updates
- Focus on Client-related tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of the migration.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the migration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for project tracking and management.
- Experience answering high level technical questions without a dependency on additional technical resources
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading cloud migration projects.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tenacious and results-driven with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Azure DevOps (ADO) for project management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience in the IT sector.
