Location: Onsite for 8 weeks, then remote. Travel may be required after the initial on-site period based on customer needs.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Citrix VDI Engineer to lead and support our Citrix and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) initiatives. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing Citrix environments and VDI solutions to deliver secure, seamless, and efficient remote desktop and application access across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage Citrix infrastructure components including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and related technologies.

Develop and maintain a resilient Citrix environment in the Tulsa Data Center to mirror the existing Citrix environment at the NDC.

Lead the implementation and support of VDI solutions, ensuring load balancing and high availability.

Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize Citrix and VDI environments.

Collaborate with network, security, and endpoint teams to integrate VDI solutions with the existing IT infrastructure.

Create and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to Citrix/VDI administration, deployment, and security.

Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues using tools such as Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, and other monitoring platforms.

Provide technical support and training for IT staff and end-users.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in desktop virtualization.
