Role Overview

This role supports data modernization initiatives at NCDHHS, focusing on data migration, ETL pipelines, and archival systems. The developer will provide hands-on technical support across applications and infrastructure while collaborating with multiple teams in a healthcare/government environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data migration pipelines and archive systems

• Provide technical support for applications and infrastructure

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and independently resolve technical issues

• Provide technical guidance and inputs to the IT Manager

• Report status updates and progress regularly

• Adhere to NCDHHS policies, standards, and procedures

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Java and SQL

• Experience working with relational databases

• Subject matter expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems

• Ability to provide technical assistance and coordinate across multiple teams

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
