C2C Role: SAP ABAP Developer at Durham, NC:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs across multiple SAP modules (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Work onsite with business users and functional consultants to gather requirements and clarify technical needs.
• Design, code, test, and debug ABAP objects including:
• Reports (Classical & ALV)
• Interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs)
• Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework)
• Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
• OData services
• Support integration with other SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and quality assurance activities.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Document technical specifications, test scripts, and deployment steps.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, data structures, and integration points.
• Experience with ABAP OO, CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP practices (preferred for S/4HANA environments).
• Solid experience with interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders in an onsite environment.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with S/4HANA development.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development (bonus).
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or finance processes (if relevant to your client).
