Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Snowflake Engineer with strong experience in retail data and AI/ML-driven analytics. The role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines on Snowflake to support advanced retail use cases such as demand forecasting, personalization, pricing, and inventory optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data models and pipelines for retail analytics.
Build data solutions supporting AI/ML models (forecasting, recommendations, customer insights).
Integrate data from POS, supply chain, e-commerce, and customer platforms.
Work with Data Scientists to prepare features and datasets for ML models.
Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and security.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (SQL, performance tuning, optimization).
Retail domain experience (merchandising, inventory, pricing, customer analytics).
Experience with AI/ML data prep and analytics pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and data orchestration.
Good to Have:
Experience with Snowflake Cortex, ML integrations, or GenAI use cases.
Exposure to real-time/streaming data in retail.
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
