Job Title: ASIC Engineer -CISCO
Location: Onsite
Duration: Long Term Contract
Required Skills & Experience:
5–10 years of experience in ASIC driver development, embedded systems, or networking software engineering.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (L2/L3), packet processing, and forwarding architectures.
Hands-on experience with TCAM/SRAM memory allocation and lookup algorithms.
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Linux-based driver development.
Experience with HBM memory and related performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with ASIC bring-up, board-level debugging, and hardware validation.
Experience using emulators, simulators, or FPGA-based prototypes for ASIC verification.
Exposure to P4 programming, SDK development, or switch/router datapath design is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on Cisco Silicon One or similar high-performance networking ASICs.
Familiarity with hardware abstraction layers (HAL), SDK frameworks, or P4-based pipelines.
Knowledge of network automation, telemetry, and system diagnostics tools.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
